The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
